APRIL SERVICE HIGHLIGHT: RAISED VEGGIE GARDEN KITS

Spring is here and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see it. We have made it through the toughest winter weather that we have experienced in many years. Hopefully, you have applied your corn gluten to your lawn and visions of tomatoes and peppers are dancing in your head. The telephones here at Marvin’s Organic Gardens have been ringing off the hook and I know that of all the calls that I have personally taken, a large percentage of customers are looking for information on raised vegetable beds.

In the past, we have custom-designed raised beds utilizing available materials. This year, we are excited to introduce a pre-built package that is simple and easy to install (no tools are required). The beds are built with locally harvested, renewable Eastern Red Cedar. They have all of the wonderful colors and fragrance associated with true Cedar that is not always found in the lumberyard offerings. Combine the 4’ 4’ or 4’x8’ unit with Marvin’s Compost and you are off and running. You can come to the store and purchase everything that you need or contact our Landscape Department.
